Terms and Conditions
- All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise
stated and are valid 30 days from the date shown on the document.
- Full payment is required before the submission of any applications.
The fees quoted in our standard charges are for the preparation
of the application, all statutory notification and submission.
They do not include any negotiation or representation etc.
- All prices quoted are exclusive of any personal expenses.
Any travel expenses will be charged at £0.37 per mile.
- The fees quoted on our standard charges include the cost
of a statutory notice in Kent. Where the cost of this notice
is greater you will be liable to a surcharge to cover any
additional cost of the notice.
- The fees quoted on our standard charges for Floor Plans
are subject to the following maximum floor areas: Band
A (100m2), B (200m2),
C
(300m2). Any buildings larger than
these areas will be liable to additional charges.
- Payment for onsite consultation, negotiation with statutory
authorities, representation and all other services is strictly
due within a 30 day period from the invoice date.
- Support Service subscribers will receive free access to
telephone advice on the law, access to representation at
discounted rates and payment of the annual charge to the
Council. Support service subscribers will pay the LGS.uk fee and annual Council charge by annual standing order 1
month before the charge is due to the Council.
- All orders & bookings will be invoiced in full at the
time of confirmation of order.
- Orders and bookings will only be confirmed upon receipt
of an official purchase order or on receipt of the signed
LGS.uk Service Request Form.
- The order of goods & booking of services to be undertaken
implies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, which
supersede in their entirety any condition contained in any
purchase order or other documentation the customer may issue
with respect to the goods or services.
- LGS.uk reserves the right to withhold, suspend, reschedule,
or cancel any application or provision of services in any
instances it deems such action necessary.
- In the event of a cancellation or postponement of any application
or booking by the customer, the following fees will apply:
- 0 – 5 Working days notice -
FULL FEE
- 6 – 10 Working days notice
- 50% OF FEE
- 11 – 15 Working days notice
- 25% OF FEE
- 15 Working days notice
- NO FEE
- In the event of non-supply of information or details by
the customer, the service will be deemed as cancelled by
the customer and the full fee will apply.
- All work undertaken by LGS.uk or subcontractors working
on behalf of LGS.uk will be undertaken on a best endeavours
basis.
- The customer is responsible for satisfying themselves that
the services purchased suitably meet their requirements.
- LGS.uk shall not be liable to the customer on any account
whatsoever, in the event that LGS.uk is prevented from fulfilling
it’s obligations thereunder due in whole or in part to an
event of Force Majuere, which shall any circumstance of,
be beyond reasonable control of LGS.uk.
- The customer undertakes to procure that there is sufficient
employer’s liability insurance to protect any person working
for or on behalf of LGS.uk, whilst working at the customer’s
premises.
