a fair hearing and take participants through a mock licensing committee
for a contested application, ending with a quiz. The day
includes:

- The role of the Council and the three licensing objectives
- The Gambling Act and Guidance
- The Premises Licence
- The Licensing Hearing, incl review of a Premises Licence
- Appeal/Judicial review.
- The Fair Freddie’s Bookmakers (case study) and the Chamber
quiz
